9) Take responsibility for your health now

It’s easy to put off your health until you’re older or for another day. But living in a healthy way means taking responsibility for your health now. That could mean joining an intramural sports league or going for daily walks with your dog, but whatever it is, make sure you choose something that speaks to you and gives you energy!

10) Decide what you want your life to look like

Be honest with yourself. If you want to lose weight, don’t tell yourself that your goals are healthier eating habits or more exercise. Instead, think through how you want your life to look in five years—when you get up every morning; what your work looks like; where you live; how much time you spend with your family—and then use that image as motivation for creating change in your life.
